The following pictures were taken during the 2004-2005 School Year. This was my third year teaching gifted students and my fourth year teaching. It was also my last year working at Liberty City Elementary which was the school where I began my teaching career in 2001. My theme for the year was William Shakespeare and I was going for a garden theme to go along with my motto "A Shakespearean Garden". My gifted students learned about the life and times of William Shakespeare. We used Lois Burdett's Shakespeare for Kids books. We mainly studied the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and read books about William Shakespeare and Queen Elizabeth. The students really loved learning about Shakespeare and participating in our in-class version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
